North Idaho College’s Center for New Directions (CND) is seeking a compassionate, resourceful Case Manager who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers and reach their educational and career goals. CND supports students navigating life transitions, including single parents, displaced workers and homemakers, and individuals pursuing careers traditionally held by the opposite sex.

In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with students to understand their needs, identify challenges, and develop individualized plans that support their academic progress, personal well-being, and career goals. You’ll connect students with campus and community resources, monitor their progress, provide ongoing encouragement, and help them navigate barriers that may affect their ability to persist and complete their education. You’ll also respond to students experiencing urgent challenges, provide appropriate support and referrals, and develop workshops, resources, and engagement opportunities that strengthen student success. Maintaining accurate confidential records and using student data to evaluate outcomes and improve services will also be part of your work.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills who brings a student-centered approach to case management and advocacy. Knowledge of student success barriers, trauma-informed practices, and crisis response is important, along with the ability to collaborate with campus and community partners and connect students with the support they need.

If you find purpose in helping people navigate challenges, discover opportunities, and build a path toward a brighter future, we’d love to hear from you!
